Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component present in the human body for the proper functioning of the skin and other tissues. As we age, this substance diminishes inside us and consequently, the skin loses the elasticity and firmness that everyone desires, resulting in the characteristic ageing of the skin (flaccidity, wrinkles and dryness).

An excellent method for reducing wrinkles and concealing expression lines is the infiltration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. This is commonly known in aesthetic medicine as hyaluronic acid injections or fillers.

We implement this technique in the lower third of the face, achieving amazing results between 30 and 60 minutes without drastically changing our patients' features.

The lip contouring technique involves small punctures of hyaluronic acid around the lip to achieve a contouring effect. In addition, we also indirectly eliminate the wrinkles that normally form in this area, especially in adult patients.
The Cupid's bow is located in the central part of the upper lip, forming a V shape. This shape varies depending on the genetics of each patient, while some have very pronounced vertices of the arch, others are barely noticeable as they are very flattened. In the latter case, hyaluronic acid filler is the indicated treatment to emphasise these excessively flat vertices that make the lip more beautiful.
By means of small infiltrations of hyaluronic acid, we manage to increase the volume of the lips. It is also a good method for correcting lip asymmetries, delaying ageing, improving colour and providing greater juiciness. The volume of the lips can vary depending on the needs of each patient, some want a noticeable result and others prefer a more natural effect. In both cases, the application is quick and results can be seen instantly.
Barcodes or peribuccal wrinkles are the wrinkles that appear on the upper part of the lip over the years. These are more pronounced in adults and smokers. The results of this treatment are excellent, we manage to rejuvenate the face through small applications of hyaluronic acid, restoring youth and beauty to the lips and their surroundings.
The ''nasolabial fold'' or ''laugh wrinkles'', are the wrinkles that delimit the wing of the nose, the cheeks on each side of the face, descending to the limits of the mouth. With the passage of time, it is very common to notice wrinkles in this area of our face not only in adults but also in young patients. These wrinkles are formed by gesturing, laughing or simply by genetics. By means of hyaluronic acid infiltrations, we can improve or even eliminate the depth of the wrinkles instantly. The product usually remains in this area for up to 12 months.
We apply the term ''labiogenic'' to those wrinkles that form from the corner of the mouth to the chin. Thanks to hyaluronic acid, we are able to restore the continuity of the skin and minimise or even eliminate, in a single session, these wrinkles that contribute to the ageing of the face.
